An announced AI data center campus or a named phase of one, with a place and an operator: the Stargate sites, Meta's Prometheus and Hyperion, Microsoft's Fairwater sites, AWS Project Rainier, xAI's Colossus, and campuses built by Crusoe, Vantage, Nscale, Nebius and others for AI labs. Chip purchase deals and cloud contracts without a site are left out.

From the operator's own announcement where it gave one, otherwise from the reporting linked on the build. When nobody stated a capacity the column is empty rather than an estimate. Megawatts are the announced campus capacity, usually IT load; a note says when a figure is IT power, a first phase or a target.

Every change (capacity, status, target date, tenant, investment) is a dated row with its source, kept forever on the build's page, on the Changes page and at /api/changes. Nothing is overwritten: when Oracle and OpenAI dropped the Abilene expansion, the 1.8 GW row stays in the history next to the 1.2 GW that followed.

Weekly, on Tuesdays at 14:30 UTC. A small agent reads the news for changes to the builds on file and for new ones, and anything it finds is marked Unverified until checked by hand.
